Cyan Schrader

volunteer coordinator

Cyan happily believes she was a horse lover from within the womb. She would ride her bike miles in Minnesota and do chores for people just to be with horses, meeting her first love Homer, a small paint horse. At age 13, (finally) the first family horse! She and her beloved Arabian gelding did everything including becoming a saddle club queen!

As a healthcare professional in Physical Therapy and exercise instructor, as well as volunteering for many events including rodeos, horse endurance rides, running races and The Balloon Fiesta, she shares her passion and instructing experience with new volunteers who desire to learn about Walkin N Circles Ranch and the rescue horses.

In 2018 she learned about WNCR online when NEEDING horses back in her life. The rest is history; she met Blue as her match in 2019 and fell in love! Cyan moved to Edgewood in 2020 to have Blue in the backyard where they now share the property with WNCR foster, Gizmo, an Arabian gelding.
