Raven was rescued from an unsafe situation in 2021. We worked for many months to put weight on her, heal her physical and emotional wounds, and shower her with attention and love. Because of this, she’s now blossomed into a fun-loving and energetic thoroughbred who continues to hone her groundwork and saddle skills.
She really bonds with her handlers and will look to them for protection. Raven lunges well at all gaits with encouragement and loads in a trailer. She picks up her feet well, stands for the farrier, and enjoys grooming.
Raven has been line driven extensively to prepare her for riding. She’s sensitive to bit pressure and is an overall reactive horse. She was mounted for the first time in May and took it well. This gorgeous mare has the potential to do amazing things given time with a patient, consistent, and assertive adopter to continue her training.
