Shonto came to us with a companion donkey, Anita, when their elderly owner passed away.
This flashy, stocky pinto gelding is learning how to trust humans. He can now be caught in a large paddock, and he is progressing in his ground training.
He will be eligible for adoption once he has completed his ground skills training, which includes round pen work, standing for farrier, and trailer loading.
